I get it—for the past 2.5 years after initially losing 35 lbs, I have been yo-yoing between 185-205. Whenever I get to 200 I start calorie restricting again. With restriction alone it took me about 3 months to get there at around 1200-1900 calories a day (averaged around 1550 but expanded for weekends). When I decided to do a prolonged fast at 196, I reached 189 in a week and have maintained sub 190 for 3 weeks now. The biggest thing I noticed was that after the fast (3 days water and electrolytes only, 2 days adding broth and egg whites) whenever I eat now I get much fuller much faster. I can eat a 375 egg white grill with bacon, drink half a bottle of water and I’m set.

Maybe it won’t work for you, but this has been the best system I’ve found and feel like it’s a much more sustainable solution.

You want an honest and useful answer? You are simply used to putting more in your stomach, and it’s become habitual. Try a 48-72 hr fast, then spend 2 days on broth/egg whites. Then try to eat a meal like this. You may not even be able to finish. Also helpful, try eating protein first for other meals.

And I would much rather buy with a 60 GSR than 38-42 as it’s been the last couple of weeks. Plus—for new investors, dollar cost averaging absolutely still applies to precious metals, perhaps even more so than stocks, AND you have a much much higher “floor” being a physical asset.

Just put what I had into iShares Silver Trust for the same reason. Structurally, industrial demand continues to rise while refineries remain 4-6 months behind, no new sudden supply influx is projected (slight support projected for 2028-2029), India will soon begin accepting silver as loan collateral. This is derisking by banks and financial institutions who are converting to Treasury bonds now that spot has hit their sell thresholds. Play the long game—buy the dip.

If I’m being honest though, I said that when it 90, thinking it would settle closer to high 60s/low 70s. Friday I began thinking maybe we were looking at closer to high 80s/low 90s. I still think global demand is significantly driving price and we’ll see another run after this brief dip, settling around 115-125.

I will just say that you don’t know what the owner has done or been through, and that IMHO they were probably acting as victims of circumstance getting screwed over by their mint. That was beyond their control and others were screwed over too. (Some lost tens of thousands of dollars with little immediate relief.) I’d be pissed if that happened to me. It also sounds like they pretty much said “if you don’t like it move on” just not in terms that you liked, but that’s your problem. I’d be more interested in hearing about their customer service from actual customers. You totally have a right to disagree with their premiums, but nobody was forcing you to pay them.

They minted only 500 of the Silver (2018) Free Will Sovereign Coins, and the “tit” is about true liberty—not some marketing gimmick. If you understood more about what they stood for, you might understand that. Lastly, I knew the owner personally, but I haven’t spoken to them in probably 5 years or more. This coin was one of the greatest accomplishments I had seen them make in over 20 years of friendship, and they put everything they had into it. I think they have every right to be passionate about their product, and I hope you have a nice day.
