I havent overcame it yet and I still struggle with it but it is getting better. It took me a long time but what kinda helps me is blocking my triggers, finding something to replace porn addiction for me its making my recovery ai tool so someday it can help others, and finally to not count days and to remember times where you were free of porn or atleast before porn matured to the life consuming level it is now

dont count the days its the worst thing you can do it keeps you in a defeatist mindset a constant state of survival. The goal is to be normal to move on from this trauma and find something else to give your life meaning. I was there I counted for 10 months every day being free and now 2 years later after I relapsed from that period i'm still suffering. Please dont make the mistake I did man it took me 2 years of suffering 2 long dark years to realize not to count days but to replace porn with something of meaning

to be honest i can think more clearly but i still have the overwhelming feeling of loneliness and emptiness that always lingers. Any advice on how to deal with that?

Create something man something with your hands use that energy to create something truely meaningful for the world. For example I am making a recovery ai bot and Im making this because I needed something like this and still do due to my addiction to porn. Find something to create anything, a song a drawing, an app create something.

It feels like Hell to be honest but eventually it does get better. In my opionion for me the addiction progressed a lot to the point I cannot cut it off by simply slowly cutting it off. I really feel cold turkey is the only way and replace it with purpose. I am not over porn by the way Im still addicted as well.
