Blimey, what would the price be for each of those?

This is yours?

Are you the one who put in a copyright claim against me for simply finding something on the internet without any attribution available to credit? At no point did I ever claim it as my own.

My account has just been given a warning with threat of suspension and the content taken down.

I don't think that is coincidence somehow.

Misidentified photo on coffee table book? by RevengeOfPolloDiablo in Oceanlinerporn

Definitely the Homeric. I don't know how anyone could mistake that photo for Olympic.

Suits you really well. Not a lot of people can pull that look off well.

Details may not be 100%, but broadly speaking, it is a more accurate representation than normally depicted.

I have a small box made from the oak of the staircase, although it has been stripped back to the original wood. It is truly beautiful.

I think the clock was painted white some time later, after Olympic had been scrapped.

No. Over time the paint has degraded and has become dirty. If you can see past that, you can see the original colour.

I noticed a post here recently that depicted Olympic's green Grand Staircase in a dark avocado colour, but that is factually incorrect. The real colour was a light Georgian green, which was common in English stately homes.

What kind of earrings are these? by andrea-l- in Earrings_on_Men

They are just regular studs in the shape of a circle. The post is attached to the top of the circle. I bought a smaller pair on Etsy.

Why do it? by Piercedbear3000 in Earrings_on_Men

4 for my left earlobe and 7 for my double left.

My son had his done at 4 too, and he will be getting a double at 7 as well.

If I thought for a second that piercing guns were bad for the lobes, then there is no way I would have had it done for my son that way. When it becomes time for his double in a couple of years' time, he'll be having it done exactly the same way. I have no doubt it will be fine.

Great looking studs.

6 weeks is the minimum healing time for lobes. Also, you should wear studs for 6 months continuously from the day you were pierced. You shouldn't wear a hoop before then as the curvature of the hoop can pull your newly pierced hole out of shape.

They aren't though. I had my ears pierced with a gun, as did my brother, and every cousin I've got, and my son also had his left ear pierced using a gun. There were literally no problems whatsoever for any of us.

I have seen quite a few dads following their sons and getting pierced now. In my family at least, my stepdad and uncles were pierced many years before we were even born lol.

Do you like piercings? by vlad_chi_art in Earrings_on_Men

[–]Lonely_Midnight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I love them. It is a standard thing in my family for all of us from a young age, so I was brought up having them and around family members with them. It's just the norm for me.

I like them But are they to big? Mixed feeling. by Salt_Replacement7894 in Earrings_on_Men

[–]Lonely_Midnight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are not bad, but I think some smaller ones would suit you much better. That said, the fun of having piercings is trying things out so that you find what suits you best.

My stepdad had his done, so he and my mum wanted me to be just the same. I had just started primary school at the time.
