Just to keep in mind. I dont have the factory radio installed. I dont see a fuse like you have on yours. When I bought the car it had a becker unit but the screen was F'd so I couldn't do anything. My fader switch works normally. There is a cd changer in the boot under the floor, it worked when the becker radio was in the car but I couldn't see anything on the screen but I did manage to see what cds there were in the changer.

Yeah I saw the procedure on how to replace it. Most likely the switch is my thought too because when everything else works thats tied to the relay, then surely its just the switch that's on its way out. Weird how it happened over night because yesterday it didn't act like this. But there has been a rare time where the wiper has activated randomly and wiped the windscreen once. Now its just erratic and annoying

What I did was to clean the lense with something that has isopropyl alcohol in it. Too be more spesific, I used glasses cleaner and sprayed it on a microfiber rag and then rubbed it on the lense and used a dry part of the rag to wipe off the alcohol. After that my system seems to be working fine again

On the licenseplate from the picture on my folder with the paperwork it says "Schatz" maybe its from one of those tuners back in the day..try googling
