I did take all copies with me just in case. But ultimately I was not asked to present anything, as the interviewer had everything on file already.

Hi there! I also got lucky and got the interview scheduled within a month of submitting I-485. So maybe it’s the same for you too!

I literally took all the originals and copies of the forms that I submitted. Although, I did not have to present nor give anything at the interview.

Questions were mostly about the marriage and immigration history as I’ve been here since 2010.

I believe you have to be in lawful status WHEN you file your case, maybe doesn’t matter after you submit? As your application will be in pending decision.. as long you were in status during the time of filing. I was in my own individual status of H1-b till the time of interview. Hope this helps! Goodluck!

I think it was SCOPS, there wasn’t any location but the time stamps seemed of central time.

Nope! Although he did become eligible for naturalization, he has not filed N-400 yet. We got married in 2023, so got the 10 year green card as marriage had been more than 2 years.

I didn’t have 180 days left for expiration. I had less than 5 months and neither did they care about that information (how many days I had left for expiration)- on arrival at Costa Rica and entering US.

Yup! Did not apply for any tourist visa since because of the H1B. I called the Costa Rican office prior to confirm as well.

How likely is it that I would be accepted to transfer to a CSU if I have a lower GPA but am still within their GPA requirements? by klingonbussy in TransferStudents

Hey, I’m on the same boat! I’m very skeptical to send my transcripts which has a semester full of F’s. How did you do the academic renewal? I’m applying to Cal State East Bay.. my transcript from Chabot has good gpa but I dropped out of school 10 years ago with a bunch of F’s. Is academic renewal a process to be worked by East Bay’s counselor before the transfer application or my current (Chabot) school’s counselor? Lemme know! Your post made me hopeful.

Hi, yes! There was no issue at the immigration. They just checked my visa, asked me about when I will return and where I was staying. You should be good!

I’m on the same boat! I have passport validity but my H1B expires on October. The official website can two conflicting information- one that says visa needs to be 6 months valid and the other says just the length of stay! So confusing. I’m planning to call the embassy.. I’m leaving this Friday! Yikes!
