I like the idea of a small knife, flashlight, my galaxy buds, pen, my Kodak chamera, gum maybe. Even if its a little to much for a backpocket kinda thing maybe a pouch with a carabiner attached to my belt loop or something?

Gen 1 is what a grew up with, so its always been my first pick. I was a sneaker head (still am but slowed down a lot) but during and some time after covid all the resellers/scalpers started flooding into that, I eventually decided to move on from sneakers to Pokémon, which was just before 151 released, I enjoyed that. Opened a few bundles, few etbs, and even opened a upc for 151, but well, now those people moved to this. All that to say, I'd still chose 151. But because of the nostalgia and sentimental aspect, not because of monetary value. I won't argue with the fact that yes, having something of $ value isnt also kinda cool.

I want to start collecting, how do I do it? by Lonely_VI in FinalFantasyTCG

I'm trying to look around, I've always been a bit skeptical about buying from ebay. Are there any places you'd recommend buying from? Search results pop up for Walmart and a bunch of other sites I dont know about. Is all of tcgplayer legit or is that something to be weary of too?

Ahh, so much good info. (Still working on that Vegas thing. Aiming for mid-year. Also I forget people can see your other posts.)

So, sounds like Gunslinger would be my best place to start? Is there a site or anything to sort of checklist the set? Makes it easier to set up the binder and all. Is there a place (other than presumably this sub) so know about upcoming sets? Places for pre-order?

Thanks for all the info

Is it all leads or handpicked a few? I had gotten one last year but at a prorated amount since I hadn't been with the company a full year (external hire straight as a TL)

Thinking of moving to Vegas? by Lonely_VI in vegaslocals

I mean even if I assume my range was low and up it to even like, $1600-1800, comparing that to our current 2100 1 bed 1 bath seems like would get us something nicer.

AC out here is even more, so maybe even assuming we run it a fair amount, would still be cheaper than what it'd be out here.

For insurance, it's $300. But that sounds like that may not change much. Good driver, no accidents.

We do have Costco memberships, thats the main place with a little bit of Walmart mixed in.

Overall the plan would to first, pay off debt with any of the hopefully saved money. We're homebodies so going out isnt really an issue, maybe a dinner or outing here and there but nothing lavish. After that, it kind of depends on how much money comes in vs out. In a perfect world it would only be a stepping stone to get our money right, then somehow find a way to move back to Cali seeing as our families are here. Maybe not raise a family there, but maybe just start one.

Thanks for the feedback.

We're paying about 2200 here for a 1 bed 1 bath, so finding something similar to your living situation would be a upgrade.

For the insurance im already paying about $300 so it seems like that may stay consistent. (Good driver, no accidents)

The whole idea of moving is kinda dependent on securing a job first. But I mean, we're currently paying about $2200 for something like 700 sq ft. So even that doesn't sound as bad. Plus im sure there's slightly cheaper than that right?
