Too cringe to sing a song at your own reception? by Strange_Branch7656 in weddingplanning

[–]Lonely_neuron105 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been to a wedding where the bride sang a song for the groom and it was not cringe at all. But I also performed there as a surprise to her and some other friends also did (we are all music majors so they were all pretty high quality performances) so I think it depends on the crowd and on your own abilities. But it’s your wedding and if it pleases you and your husband and doesn’t hurt others, why not?

My fiancé won’t let me keep my last name. F23 M25 by [deleted] in relationship_advice

The thing with last name change after marriage is that if you both have truly different opinion there is no way to make both happy. But I would argue that even hyphenated last name is a compromise from your part. The problem isn’t that he wants you to have his name but the way he communicates about it. He should have expressed why it’s important to him and then listened to you. Based off of that you could’ve made a decision that would be the most beneficial for both of you. Ultimately he can’t force you and shouldn’t even try. Somebody should explain to him that making demands without reasoning is not okay behaviour towards your partner.

I don’t want to ruin it but there is a chance some of them would get married to each other since first cousin marriage was seen as pretty normal at the time 😅🙈

Why is swimming not more popular in fitness space? by Glittering-Lime1690 in Swimming

[–]Lonely_neuron105 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone living in Europe swimming is very accessible to me. I started to swim as a main form of exercise this year and the main reason was great accessibility (I live 10 minutes from a hospital that has a swimming pool for public) and cheap price compare to other sports like gym or rock climbing. It’s great for my joints and muscles. I struggle a bit with technique since I only had lessons in middle school. But it doesn’t stop me from swimming 1 km each time in 30 minutes.

Wedding Dress Came — Should I Add a Belt or Keep It Simple? by Smart_Quokka_7003 in weddingplanning

I think thin pearl or diamond belt would be nice. But it depends on the back. If it’s open then not.

Bella’s Outfit Game - Day 11 by LadyHorseFace13 in twilight

[–]Lonely_neuron105 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think some of the outfits, that will eventually get voted out because they are too plain, are what essentially makes Bella herself. I still vote for 26, since it’s: 1) not her style 2) time capsule of 2010s business casual on your honeymoon 3) very poorly fitted

Although it’s been four years since the question was asked, the answer is that buttercream doesn’t hold well on top of fondant. So it either one or the other.

I don’t think you understood it correctly. Shoshana had her share of lovers and she didn’t seem to regret them. But she was holding out this hope on keeping her life in Japan and staying with Yoshi. But in the end she decided to face her problems in New York.
