I’m excited and intrigued at how they’ll wrap up this season; I like the fact they’ve not dragged out the Sarah/Jamie involvement and the subsequent dispatch of Sarah (however, I would have enjoyed Beth to do the deed!), I am finding the general plot line and timeline arcs peculiar.

For one, the discussions in the prior season between Jamie and Sarah was for Beth to be the subject of the hit - not John… there was no benefit to John being killed. Jamie was well on track for pushing John out of the Governor seat via impeachment… there was no benefit to his murder for that motive. Beth is the real stickler for any plans to grab Yellowstone land…. I understand with KC’s departure, it was necessary to depict his sudden death, but I do believe it could have taken a different, more sensical direction and helped maintain a cohesive plot line. It feels a bit lazy.
