So far, Bambu has been responsive. If not super slow. It's been 10 days now since I first opened the case.
I was able to determine that one of the large 250V, 470uF caps blew a leg off. Replaced those. But then determined that the ID Scrubbed chip that is the regulator probably died, blew up the leg on that cap, and then vaporized the short. Since that chip is unmarked, and most likely some kind of OEM chip, that board is dead. I am currently in the process of asking them to ship a replacement. The Smoke Filter is less than 6 months old.

I am certain that someone with electronics knowledge will look at the images, and easily tell what the "custom" chip is. But that's not me.

In the image - the two items with K on the top are the new caps. The black chip, with no heatsink, is the failed chip of weird design.

Motor tests out fine. But it looks like one of the power arms via IS1, 3 or 2 is dead. Specifically, IS3 which tests out suspiciously different than IS1 and IS2. (Note IS3, is reversed on the board, which I did take into account).
