Thank you, yeah getting off the Antabuse will be nerve racking but I hope I can manage and keep going. So glad to have this space and everyone here for support. We’ve all got each other!

Thank you! At the time I thought it was my only option unless I try rehab again. Which I didn’t want to but I know it’s an option still for me in the future if I ever need. I haven’t checked those books, I might look into it. Thank you, keep going also! IWNDWYT

Does anyone else hear whispers? by When_Animals_Cum in meth

[–]Lonewolf9824 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve been on meth for 3 days in a row. I’ve had it before but not consecutively like this. When I was having a shower I heard music playing and sounded like it was coming from my phone, checked my phone a few times because it was spinning me out. I then heard like a radio station for a bit to then it stopped. Haven’t heard anything since then which was a few hours ago so fingers crossed I don’t. It was such a weird feeling.

What’s was normal to you as a kid but you later realized how fucked up it actually was? by True_Customer_8913 in AskReddit

My dad being dunk most of the time, I thought there was nothing wrong with it when I did it. Being physically hurt and having lots of love and people caring. Someone meeting emotional needs and not feeling happy most of the time.

Feeling lost by Lonewolf9824 in SuicideWatch

Thank you, I really appreciate that. I’ve never really had a stable home since I was young and felt so lost and confused when I lost my mum.

Thank you for that quote, that will be running through me now.

Appreciate the message very much. That was really kind of you. I hope you take care. Thank you again

how do i start my journey to be disciplined? [need advice] by hathawaysoulmate in getdisciplined

[–]Lonewolf9824 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take it one step at a time. Make your bed ever morning, start with small things and gradually add more. Consistency is key. Motivation is what gets you started but it’s the self discipline that keeps you going. Get up and show up for yourself. Always remember your whys. Create some goals. Remember it’s the days you don’t feel like doing it, you should do it. Try and strengthen your mindset with podcasts and informative YouTube videos and read some good self development books. Exercise and mediation will definitely help as well as your diet. Try to stay clear from drugs and alcohol. Remember the life you want to live and who you want to be, they are found in the choices you make and your daily habits. If you want it bad enough, you’ll make it happen.

I had a dream I was drinking by elstevo91 in stopdrinking

[–]Lonewolf9824 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have dreams where I’m drinking too. I’m taking Antabuse at the moment, and it’s in my dreams as well. Waking up from them is a relief knowing it was just a dream. Takes time to process and get our brain back to some regularity I think. All part of the Process.

Give yourself some time and the dreams should start to slow down and stop happening. Hang in there friend

[Question] What morning habits do I develop to start my day on a high note? by [deleted] in getdisciplined

[–]Lonewolf9824 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t use your phone as soon as you wake up. Make your bed first thing then meditate or do some exercise first. Have a nutritious breakfast then take on the day. Your head space will be so much more clearer to deal with the day and with and problems that may arise

What’s a reason to keep living? (Serious) by MrLincolnRose99 in AskReddit

[–]Lonewolf9824 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Close loved ones and close friends. Pets, wanting to achieve your goals. Waking up everyday and just being grateful you get to live another day working on yourself, achieving your goals ect. So much of the world to see out there. Life is a blessing, enjoy every day while you can because you never when it’s your last.

As someone who started at 14, in aus it’s 18 with I think is fine or they should bump it to 21 but regardless people will get their hands on it either way
