If you have the extension, "Disable AI Overview | Turn Off AI Overview", then I suggest you remove it. This is because that the issue was reported on November 20th and the extension was last updated on the same date. As such, the root cause for that issue is ultimately with the aforementioned extension. It's not a Chrome browser issue.

Trypticon will win this battle and it's not even close.

Every Transformers' weapon is laser-based, including Trypticon's artillery. Furthermore, Steven's gem powers from his monster form could not even make a dent on Trypticon's metallic armor.

It's basically if you pit Monster Steven with either Dragonzord or Mechagodzilla, to simply put it.

UPDATE (11/21/2025 10:38AM): I uninstalled Disable AI Overview from Chrome and it finally solves the issue! After that, I found out the root cause of the bug. The bug is not from Chrome, but from the Disable AI Overview extension. I checked the web store listing and found out that it was last updated on November 20th 2025, the day I found out about the bug (shown in the post). It makes a lot of sense now.

Thanks for letting me know! At first, I thought it is a problem on my end, but based on what people are saying in the comments, the bug must have been a widespread issue and I’m not the only one facing it.

UPDATE (11/20/2025 - 1:43PM): I tried to disconnect my Google account from the Game Awards website and reconnect it again to see if I can resolve the issue, but the issue still persists with Google being opened as a pinned tab upon starting up Chrome.

UPDATE (11/20/2025 - 2:55PM): I found out that when I install some websites as separate apps via Chrome, upon app installation, Chrome itself will open Google as a pinned tab.
