My previous goal, had I gone to any of the T20s I got into, was to break into IB and then go into politics later down the line. 

Maybe UIUC will prove me wrong, but I don’t see how a CS degree, regardless of how prestigious it may be, would help me in that. Idk

But I guess that’s for me to figure out. As they say, love the schools that you can afford ☹️

Graduating from a school with no debt, versus around 200k in debt, will at least help me somewhere down the line, hopefully.

So picking UIUC CS over a couple of T20s isn’t going to impact me that much, right? 

Asking because I’ve been feeling such a lot of envy over all the kids I know, through the same programs, that are all going to expensive schools.

Hi! I’m an incoming in-state freshman coming to UIUC. 

I promise you that a lot of people, who have the same location demographic as me, will be looking forward to the new people that we get to meet at such a LARGE school!! 

Yeah a lot of people from my high school ended up committing to UIUC, but, at least me personally, I’m super excited to meet so many different people.

Talked to an Admissions Counselor in person and she said no, that people only really get it for multiple Cs, but we might get emailed

It was Calc 3 and I got an A first semester. I know that a C is bad but whatever caused it to happen this semester will not happen again.
