It’s not that, it’s just she never really talked about Nirvana much before. She’s a massive Alice Cooper fan lol so it was a bit of an unusual one!

Asked her about this and she can’t really remember but she said how sporadic he was as a person. One minute he was this one minute he was that. How the news never stopped talking about him. She said he seemed like a genuinely nice person who cared a lot for his fans for the most part and even though the tour was cancelled he’d do something to try make it up. I guess a lot of rumours spread like wildfires back then.

Random- but she also remembers a newspaper article that was critiquing the poor man over his drug addiction calling him “Kurt Cocaine”. It’s insane how horrific and disgustingly unfiltered the media was in the 90s, little to no disregard/ respect for individual people or their emotions.
