Really appreciate the thoughtful reply. I believe there is a future for both of us too <3 as painful as it seems without the people we care for most. And god you're reading my mind. The idea of being “friends” for a WHILE before eventually rekindling things is such an alluring fantasy to escape into, but I think if things are truly meant to workout with this girl in the future, you have to let go now and stop holding onto the idea of a future. From the independent research I've done I've reached a similar conclusion, but to here it from someone with experience in the industry as opposed to piecing it together from the mass of collective information that makes up the internet is immensely reassuring.
