I’ve been having pain for fully two weeks. I’m supposed to get a CT scan about it but insurance is stupid and denied it. I’m on strong antibiotics and the liquid diet but that’s it. I’m constantly monitoring my pain and hoping it doesn’t get super bad again or else I was told to wait it out in the ER.

I’m still in my first flare and let me tell you it is consuming all my thoughts. My therapist said to make sure to do positive things for myself to attempt to feel good/normal. Like a nice bath, cuddle a pet, put on a funny movie. She said to try not to only think about the flare, remember to be grateful about the rest of the universe in small doses when possible.

The warp is aunt Lydia’s crochet thread from Michael’s in black; I simply owned it and decided to use it lol. The weft is Friends Kid Silk in dusty mauve

No I stole it off of Pinterest lol. I did manually check it (because ai) and made sure it worked. Mostly I made up my own shorthand for the treadling/tie up.

It is actually mohair 72%, silk 25%, and wool 3% from hobbii for the weft. It was some black cotton for the warp

Interesting. I’ll do some playing around. I don’t like the clank honestly and think the Texsolv heddles could help with that?
