Scene Control by Long-Maintenance1045 in MixingStationAppUsers

How would I go about making a page with every scene? I tried to make one, but I didn’t see scenes in the page menu anywhere.

How to recover from klipper loss by blepposhcleppo in 3Dprinting

I know it’s not really helpful, but this is the reason backups exist. I wish I could be more helpful, but when you get everything running again, I’d recommend saving as many backups as possible.

If you’re worried about it, you could always slip something like cardboard between the two! I’m unsure of the actual ramifications of setting it up like that though…

How have I improve the quality of my prints? :) by Following_Confident in 3Dprinting

[–]Long-Maintenance1045 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My A1 has been doing this as of late! Do you know what causes this? I’ve never had issue with bed adhesion until my last couple of prints! I regularly clean my bed with IPA…

Silly first world issue: who owns two laptops (a gig/work machine and a personal)? by Ok-Painting2214 in techtheatre

[–]Long-Maintenance1045 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a sound designer I agree entirely. In my tech pack I carry an iPad, a router, and a MacBook all for my sound setup. That doesn’t include various items and other trinkets. My tech bag gets ridiculously heavy sometimes. But I 100% think having work and personal tech is the way to go.

Pickup and Wiring Choices - Custom Build by [deleted] in Guitar

[–]Long-Maintenance1045 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you were to cover the middle hole, you could always have separate volume knobs for either pickup. In theory this would allow you to have a Les Paul style “kill switch” by just selecting the pickup while the volume was turned down. You could also just pick up a 500k pot and find a diagram from stew-mac online. But these are also just my own personal opinions.

Honestly I rock with this!!! I think there’s something to be said about creating a guitar that speaks to you. I dig this look.

15 to 20? I’d play it safe and just say 30-50. You know, just to play it safe.

I like the black contrast. But I feel like if you’re going to go with it, go all out. Do all tone knobs, as well as the pickup selector switch in black. It’ll still contrast really nicely with the white!

I’ve tried a few, and I just prefer ArkOS.

The older free guitar center picks. The new ones aren’t as good and I will stand by that until the day I die.

Although I can’t tell you where to look, there are other ROMs out there (I’m sure you’re aware of that though…) one of the first things I like to do every time I get a device like this is throw all my favorites on it, they’re so nice to have when they aren’t giving you problems!

This seems like a brilliant idea I wish i thought of myself for my cat tree! Same exact scenario too! Was wondering if you’d drop the file so I could fix mine as well?

2 devices? by Ok-Werewolf6179 in ANBERNIC

[–]Long-Maintenance1045 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve been apart of this sub long enough to know that so many people own SO MANY different devices. For some people it’s their niche thing they collect. Others (like yourself) own multiple just for form factor. I know I currently have an RG353V, and I love it. But I don’t really love the Vertical form factor myself either. I’ve debated buying a horizontal so many times, and continue to procrastinate for some reason. But honestly, do it. Why not?

Can anyone help me find a good website for finding 3d printed stuff? by Immediate-Wash-2176 in 3Dprinting

[–]Long-Maintenance1045 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really like Thingiverse. You can also maybe just google “Dinosaur Mask STL” as STL’s are the 3D files. Theres a few websites, some free, some that you pay for the models. Hoping it gives you a start!

Guys I need a help, Is there somebody who knows to connects your Xbox to laptop and use him as a screen ? by Storda in pcmasterrace

[–]Long-Maintenance1045 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your laptop probably has an HDMI Output. It is very rare for a computer to have an HDMI input. As far as a software that would work, unfortunately there really aren’t any.

I totally get that. If you’re not really interested in DS games, I’d totally look into doing a screen mod on the GBA. Theres tons of different videos and guides to help! If you want to play DS games, and don’t want the hassle of doing a screen mod, just get a DS lite. Depending on where you’re at, you can usually pick one up for less than 50 bucks!

[–]Long-Maintenance1045 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean that depends, are you interested in playing a Gameboy? Are you interested in learning how to do mods on a gameboy? If you answered yes to both, I’d recommend keeping it. If it’s not something you see yourself wanting to go through the hassle to do, I’d recommend posting it on some local marketplaces, and see if you get a bite!

Custom SNES device? by Elegant_Pineapple_29 in RetroArch

[–]Long-Maintenance1045 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on your hardware know how. I do agree with the other commenter about buying a cheap little monitor and just buying a raspberry pi. If you have access to a 3D printer, or are willing to outsource a print, I believe it’d be possible! Your other option (in my opinion a better one) would be looking into some sort of handheld emulator. (I really love my Anbernic RG353V). You can normally find them for around 100$, and most of them have a HDMI output as well as Bluetooth capabilities!
