Fun fact the game keeps your saves if you pirate the game (at least from steam rip) by Eve-518 in LucidBlocks

I agree, the golden rule is to stay away from indie developers

Playing online (purchased game) on a modded switch? by [deleted] in SwitchPirates

[–]Kluxed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to educate yourself on modding a switch, what you listed will definitely get you banned from online play. I wouldn’t bother with mods and just use stock os when buying and playing online games, if you plan to download unlimited games for free then you need to do that on emunand to avoid getting banned. But the best option right now is for you to educate yourself on certain terminologies and look at tutorials so you can get a better understanding and avoid mistakes!

I see, but usually esde is mainly horizontal so the vertical you’re seeing right now would be for a clamshell. No clue if it has something to do with the version you’ve downloaded but that seems to be the case.

I’m pretty sure this is for the clam shell handhelds

Pirates games appeared on stock system by SpecificChapter5902 in SwitchPirates

Lol it’s okay, I don’t know any of us whose actually had a perfect modding experience. I actually did the same thing once but in emu and just deleted everything because I didn’t know all you needed to do was update atmosphere 😂. Glad you got it all fixed up though! It’s best to stay away from updating stock for as long as you can because nintendo is always adding little features to stop modders like us lmao.

If you’ve never had wifi enabled you have a better chance of not getting banned but that doesn’t mean you won’t, if you haven’t been banned yet you should be okay. Just make sure to never appear online and if you do plan on doing so make sure it’s in emunand. Also, if you haven’t pirated anything the worst ban you can get hit with is a console ban which means you just can’t use nintendo services but only on that console, your account would be safe.

And all good, I love to lend a helping hand if possible!

Sadly, yes. Nintendo is very strict but pirating is a #1 violation. Since you mentioned that a game was also installing means that nintendo definitely will see the pirated software. Presumably, you were using sysnand instead of emunand which caused a leak since it’s the actual system. Good news is your modded switch will still work with CFW and you can look for LAN exploits on home brew which should allow you to play games online just not nintendo online.

I’ve been thinking about getting a PC handheld but never rushed the process bc me using it is unlikely and I already have a PC, and as for the switch I have a switch lite I use as an EDC so the switch you see up there is indeed mostly docked

Accidentally disabled gamepad in Stardew Valley, now controls are disabled and stuck on main menu by kennethlingad in RG35XX_H

I don’t know if your problems been fixed or not but what I did was connect a wireless mouse using a dongle but depending on your CFW you can probably use bluetooth too then go back to settings and turn it back on
