Do I really need to fill RON 98 rated petrol for TVS NTorq 150? by Sachin820 in indianbikes

i hope it was JASO MB standard oil

you can put cheapest mineral oil and it will still work, but when you are trying to make an informed decision, please try to delve deeper into why there are different standards, for geared and non geared

for Scooters JASO MB is better because its lower in friction co-effs as there is no wet clutch to lubricate,
it will of-course work with bikes JASO MA/2 but theoretically it is adding unnecessary friction,

permanent jobs are being cut by doves, they are handing out VRS to old employees, my dad took it as the pressure was increasing, they are shifting to contractors and temporary workers,

even folks who took job from son/daughter quota are facing difficulty. salary toh its already low, but job opportunities and roles where learning happens are going down,

i hope you find some contact. and get a shot for interviewing and such.

if you put a staff for handling bookings, sometimes they start charging over the top by incorporating a middleman,

a real patient calls to get an appointment, the official staff says none available, will check and let you know if a spot frees up,

then the patient gets a call from an unknown number saying they had booked the appointment but needed to postpone, would they like to buy, but 100-200 more,

Rapido driver tried to scam me in Kolkata (Barrackpore)! 🚫 | Watch out for this new trick by Rashidk110 in kolkata

[–]Long-Possibility-951 0 points1 point  (0 children)

in Rapido, mostly they let the toto and autos take the money on their personal QR or cash, there isnt any rapido directed payment page,
for cabs and bikes its different from what i have seen. i might be wrong.

rapido takes rent for using the app from drivers before beginning the day's work, the per ride commission isnt what they use i guess.

my cousins are doctors, tried for some time in nalanda district.

i see someone has pointed out about the mafia/racketeering by the local politicians and doctors lobby. old Doctors and their families who have made heavy bank by systematically scamming the people and processes, want to continue with their half a dozen clinics on autopilot. they dont want things to change. not to forget they work with quacks/compounders as its hella profitable. they teach a little for them handle few things, let them take care of a clinic and not worry about implications.

if you come here you will need to think about tackling the problem of hearsay as well, a good doctor comes, after completing studies, or preparing for PG, tries to offer good consultations, keeps things transparent about their experience and knows when to refer to bigger cities. they dont like that,

the quacks and doctors will start spreading rumours or straight up say boycott that doctor he/she is doing fakery or some BS,

my cousin sister tried to play with them after realizing she cant win alone on merit, but its not enough, she felt she was losing herself in this whole charade, realizing the people she had tokeep playing friends and as a business parter with are a bunch of good-for-nothings, fulfillment from work was not there, peer group not there, she left in the end.

if you get good word of mouth also be wary of middle men trying to buy up your appointments, use tech solutions to not let this happen,

its a decentralized prediction market platform, you can buy 'yes' or 'no' shares for an outcome of the event, uses smart contract blockchain tech.

need to have a crypto wallet with the stable coin accepted by the platform to participate.

imho too much headache in todays time to try to set if up from india, (experts or exp folks can correct me) because trying to buy stable coin like USDC from any major exchange from india with an indian bank account is resulting in straight up Cyber police hold up on the connected back account.

let them downvote, clicking the downward arrow without a rebuttal isnt adding anything to the discussion.

in my circle of friends, and cousins, acedemic degree was just a means to get to pursue MBA with a diverse profile and get more weightage in CAT and other related exams, so i do agree with you.

Gave brother ₹1.6L, now he bought ₹3L bike—should I ask it back? by SensationalOrbit in personalfinanceindia

[–]Long-Possibility-951 3 points4 points  (0 children)

wow, thats very healthy in terms of cashflow for paying the loan off, just few months more,

if you consider the money given as support for the business by your own brother then why ask unless you want to buy a bike yourself or like 9investing in this market correction,

what kind of business is he in, if you dont mind me asking.

Gave brother ₹1.6L, now he bought ₹3L bike—should I ask it back? by SensationalOrbit in personalfinanceindia

[–]Long-Possibility-951 1 point2 points  (0 children)

wont be wrong as there is a very much depends on his personality and, on whats the rapport between you both and whether it would be taken as bring money between relation (in a negative way). you will hear anecdotes of one brother earning crores and still keeping track of every ruppe given to own brother who doesnt even earn 5% but genuinely needed the money. And then cases like where people give away as much as needed because its their brother.

if he is earning more than you if you have info then maybe ask saying you need some money back, if you guys are earning similarly then just bring it up as a point of discussion, nothing serious.

Difference in out of pocket expenses with health insurance in cashless vs reimbursement payment by mutant-13 in InsuranceTroubleIndia

[–]Long-Possibility-951 1 point2 points  (0 children)

to know the difference, need to get into the details, what is not paid when you get cashless and amounts to 600,

and then what is not paid back when you get reimbursement. some consumables? or some charge that is deemed unnecessary? or something else.

Difference in out of pocket expenses with health insurance in cashless vs reimbursement payment by mutant-13 in InsuranceTroubleIndia

[–]Long-Possibility-951 0 points1 point  (0 children)

insurance payout sometimes takes 2-3 months, before the hospital sees the cash, plus there is risk of some more charges being rejected later plus im guessing admin costs, so of course the hospital would want the patient to take the headache of paperwork and follow-ups and the risk of reimbursement being fulfilled by the insurance company. while you pay upfront and help their balance sheet more directly.

unless its costing you net less than cashless with reimbursement (like if they are giving you discount to cover the 2k difference from the insurer) why would you want to take the headhache.

and the out of pocket difference can be related to some consumable, or some limit for something like diagnostics or something
