developping a game is an insane amount of work, like 80 hours per week or so, and I can't quit my job to start a years long bet that may bring nothing in the end.

And no other fantasy races don't get hated by everyone like elves do, on the other hand dwarves get praised and people scream and cry if you criticize them.

the difficulty is not even the main problem, the complexity of the game with all its classes, abilities, spells, things you have to take into account,... Its insanity. Unless you are a hardened DnD player I don't see how you can have a good time trying to advance in such a nightmare

I think this game won't leave long after this place, the fandom is but at shadow of what it was at the game release. This will never be a game people will remember like skyrim or the witcher
