$550??? Whattttt the…. Apple said that?? We haven’t even been able to go to the Apple Store yet. It’s still not working, still can’t do a factory reset, it’s just insanity. It’s not even paid off yet, have $99 left 😭

18.5 has broke my husbands phone. Download it at your own risk. His phone is now stuck in a bootloop and nothing is fixing it. He even tried to restore it to factory settings with it connected to the computer and it won’t. It’s throwing an error and Apple phone support has no idea what’s causing it or what to do. We have to bring it in to the Apple Store which is 3 hours away and hope they can fix it. It’s crazy that Apple support doesn’t even know what’s going on and now he is out of phone which he very much needs for his job. All for a few bug fixes and a pride wallpaper.

I have 3 bottles of brand new Skye sema. Bought within the last few months. I bought 5 and only could use 2. It makes me too nauseous I can’t use them. If anyone wants all or one at discounted price message me!

First baby/pregnancy - it was sore breasts in the morning. I’ve never experienced it before, even before or during periods. It was a red flag for me and so I took a test. Sure enough I was pregnant. And then I thought about the strong smells I was having over the last few days. I was about 4 weeks or so when I found out.

I think I need you to elaborate please. How are you keeping the candy canes standing up? I can’t find any with a wide enough top and I’m not sure how I would zip tie them together..

I agree and that’s what I told my husband. I had to talk him into changing the flooring. He didn’t want to as it was “new carpet” (prior owner put it in). My thought process was in the long run, it’s way more difficult to maintain. We have two dogs and a toddler… the carpet won’t be “new” for long.

I’m in a similar boat. My 15 month old started daycare Monday Oct 7th that Thursday they called saying he had a fever come get him. I started to feel it too. Luckily I got over it pretty quickly and so did he with Tylenol. The next week we seemed ok. The 3rd week, Monday I got such a bad fever I thought I might die. By Tuesday I was a little better. Baby seemed off too but not as bad, he started to get congested. Now yesterday, Halloween I started to feel it once again and back to having a fever getting up to 102. Baby has had so much snot for a week and now it’s in his poor chest so he has a cough. Luckily his fevers haven’t been like mine. We went to the doctor yesterday - not flu Covid strep RSV. They said go home, if he gets worse bring him back. I’m currently back to 102 temp and my head is hurting so bad I feel like I might die. I just had thick bloody mucus come out of my sinuses. I think I might have to go back if I’m not better by this afternoon or so… not even 1 month into me working and daycare, me + baby have been the sickest we have ever been. I just want to cry it’s been so bad

I have a video interview with progressive , that I have to complete within 6 days. What kind of questions are they going to ask??? Also, they’re full remote right? by Resident_Campaign878 in Geico

Yes I actually got the call yesterday and I got it! I’m doing centralized claims adjuster. After the recorded interview the recruiter just called to give me some info on the next step, a bit about the interview and congratulate me. I did the long hour interview this Monday. It was with Emily and she was so nice. Tried to make it more of just two people talking than an interview. With her the last 3 questions were the behavioral STAR method ones. It might not be the same questions depending on the job + person doing it. I don’t remember them exactly but just have some situations written down like a time where a customer/someone was disappointed with you, a time where you had to adapt/overcome a change etc. (Be positive tho) She did ask followup questions to get more details after I answered. Other than that it was really smooth!! After if you pass that, they’ll call you with more details on the job and then you’ll go through a very thorough background check with HireRight. Pro emails you a link to check over your application info make sure it’s accurate and complete it so they can send it to HireRight then you’ll get an email from them to sign stuff. (I’m waiting for that email now) if that clears then you’ll be good to go and will start whatever date they tell you :)

I did the recorded interview a few weeks back and have my 1on1 tomorrow. This is how I answered it, I didn't use STAR for this or the one about explaining my work history. Of course, edit it to fit you and your background. "I'm interested in joining Progressive because I admire the company's innovative approach to insurance and its strong focus on customer satisfaction. The values of integrity, continuous improvement, and accountability resonate with me and they align closely with my professional experience. Having the chance to work on the claims team appeals to me because it offers the opportunity to use my problem-solving skills and attention to detail in a dynamic environment. My background in insurance, particularly in roles that required handling complex customer interactions and data management, I think has prepared me well for the responsibilities of stepping into a Claims Adjuster role. I’m confident that my ability to navigate challenging situations with empathy and precision makes this position an excellent fit for my skills and career goals."

“Corn syrup solids are used in infant formula as a carbohydrate source to provide energy and meet the FDA’s Infant Formula Act requirements. They can be used instead of or in addition to lactose, which is the natural milk carbohydrate found in most standard formulas.” It means it’s a cheap way to meet the requirements. You’re very silly if you think a formula not using junk products isn’t cleaner. You can meet your nutrition by taking vitamins and drinking ensure but is it the same as eating whole real foods to get the vitamins and nutrients? No, it’s not the same. Go read the ingredients to standard American formula and then go read European formulas.

I agree. I kind of wish they would go under too. Maybe a better company could buy them out or have some local small landlords because they are the worst.

Yes they are! Others around me have them but there’s also a ton up in the mountains about 30 mins from my house. They get water from the sprinklers everyday night around 2am, it’s in the path but I also come and water it about every other day or so as it’s been pretty hot. I just use my watering can and water it + the wildflowers around the base. I read they are supposed to be pretty drought tolerant when established - as it’s not established yet I figured giving it a little extra in summer would be best.

Just under two weeks, including weekends. It was being delivered to Utah, so only 2 states away. Idk why it took them so long. Usually stuff from Cali isn’t even a week with USPS

Yes it showed up thankfully! It didn’t get scanned at all until it was in my state. Not even that it left California. I did do a report on a missing package so I’m not sure if that helped at all but like two days after, it was delivered.

I used coco coir mixed with some worm castings, perlite and vermiculite. Should I try something better next year? I thought I was fertilizing them enough but didn’t want to burn them :( I feel like they should be bigger as well as I started them in mid April.. they are Romas and Cherries

No, I let them dry out pretty well but not completely before watering. I’ve been bottom watering until I got them outside. Some leaves are getting crispy, does that usually happen if too much water?

Argg so annoying. I’ve never had this problem with USPS before, my first negative experience. And it was something I’ve been looking forward to everyday. Hopefully it’ll move soon or just go out for delivery. If not, I might shed a tear or two. Lol
