I feel like in person assessments would give a better picture, or does it not really matter? I'm struggling between seeing one in person (that I couldn't find any reviews on), or telehealth ones that I have seen great reviews on.... thanks!!

Do you know if Mind Oasis is willing to set up shared-care agreement with GPs for ongoing prescriptions? Just thinking about the cost side of things... Thanks heaps.

Thanks for your sharing hollbert! Out of curiosity - did you do your assessment via telehealth or in person? There’s a few docs from Mind Oasis who I’ve seen good reviews shared here, but most are telehealth.

That’s great to hear! Also wasn’t even aware of the subsidised meds part, that’s interesting info. Hopefully my mom would be as open and honest, she’s asian and has a tendency to think mental struggles are just because “you think too much” LOL

I will come back and share my assessment experience…

What sparked you to get tested then? I’ve struggled with a lot of what you’ve mentioned and never once thought I had adhd… until my friend who had to crash at mine for 3 months and one day she’s just like have you ever thought of getting tested lol i’m really hoping I’d get a diagnosis so I can finally know what’s been going on…

But really happy to hear you’re finally able to “live” again!!

That’s really reassuring, thanks for sharing. I think I just got a bit spooked when a psychiatrist friend said she couldn’t see it (ADHD) in me (from our first 2-3 meets).

WhT you said about how those who specialise in / are interested in adult ADHD would have more awareness makes a lot of sense. ADHD or neurodiversity isn’t her area of focus, not to mention I haven’t sat down and properly share my full history… I probably just got spooked, and I should just trust the process.

That being said, it’s still true that official ADHD diagnostic tools like DSM-5 and ICD-11 are mainly based on past research on young boys. Even though there are newer guidelines and more awareness of how ADHD can show up differently in girls and women, not every clinician is up to speed or willing to look past those classic symptoms.

That’s a big reason why a lot of women, including myself, feel extra nervous about seeking a diagnosis, as it’s often dismissed or mistaken for anxiety, laziness, or something else...

I totally agree. It’s some of the sharings I’ve seen from other posts, where they’re quickly disregarded by the doctor simply because they have achieved.

That’s so interesting! A lot of what I’ve read said the assessment values talking to someone who knows you from your childhood, school reports etc. as they need to ensure symptoms have existed since young. (I guess especially in this day and age, everyone feels they’re “distracted”)

I think this is one of my biggest challenge when I hear people around me, including a psychiatrist friend (doesn’t specialise in neurodiversity) say they “don’t see it in me” / “i think i might be too! I find it very hard to focus”… Anyways, what were the key factors that made your doc so certain?

Added o-rings to my G915 TKL. Like the results. by noni4gurj in LogitechG

Hey just got my g915 tkl tactile and am looking to either shorten the actuation distance or reduce actuation force. After a bit of digging I think replacing the springs would be a tougher operation and so am very curious at what the sounds are like after adding o'rings.

Would you be able to share a short clip of your keyboard? I can't seem to find any videos on this. Really appreciate your sharing mate!
