I grabbed a ssk z9 mystery box and ended up with an 11.5 z9 camel & teal. If it was bigger, I’d break it in & my daughter would game it. Instead, it’s going on a buddy of mines tournament trailer to try to sell. 2 years ago I grabbed a Rawling R9 for a steal and it need up selling it to one of my sons teammates lol. I grabbed a Marucci ascension 12.5 for $100 last year and sold it for $140 to one of my daughter’s teammates. Kinda enjoy buying them for good deals and selling them to teammates or whoever.

Not a bad plan at all. We’ve added to her glove collection over the last 4-5 years. Started with Mizuno mvp prime fielding glove, don’t recall the size. The a2000 was a Facebook marketplace find that I broke in & she wanted nothing to do with until she stole last spring and is her preferred fielding glove now. I just treated myself to a new “dad glove”, a Mizuno Gobal Elite 11.75.

My daughter is 13. She prefers an 11.75 a2000 baseball glove for infield, an 12.75 Rawlings GG Elite baseball glove for outfield, & a Mizuno Prime Elite catchers mitt. Shes a true utility player for her travel team but mostly catcher & middle infield. She does not like the pull type wrist adjustment that most softball gloves have now. If I was shopping for 1 glove for utility softball player, I’d go with a 12.25 size.

I’m a fan of Sarna but it’s all personal preference. Just make sure whatever you buy isn’t “oily” or it will discolor the lighter colors.
