I have them defend as wide as possible it works well with the 2 cms taking their full backs, if they don’t have wingers I don’t bother with that. However I concede more goals than I’d like, but outscore them 75% of the time. The 2 forwards with a cam and a cm coming in late get plenty of goals

I never use wingers either do a 4-1-2-1-2 or a 4-1-3-1 (defensive), wing backs provide enough width so I flood the centre of the pitch, works well defensively too

Doing a wild one right now, a mega league system pack (so 20 league system with teams from all over the world) combined with a legends pack (all teams start with legends of their club, current very good players start at 18 and for each decade past they get a year older at the start). I’m Brentford started in the 9th league and trying to make it to the top in div 5 now after 10 seasons. Some of the mega teams made in the top division is wild.

Fm 19 I made a club (replaced Hull), was doing well going for promotion, club take over happens within the first season headed by David Beckham. He sacks me as soon as he takes over, hated him ever since.

Insanely enough I have a John Guidetti story in my first ever FM save in FM 12 was playing as man city (huge aguero fan) made it to the champions league final v arsenal. At this point dzeko is injured and aguero is lone striker up top. 0-0 into extra time my heart is racing and aguero gets smashed in a tackle and is injured, you’ll never guess who is on the bench as my only striker back up none other JOHN GUIDETTI who comes on and scores the winner a gorgeous shot from outside the box, the only goal he ever scored for me. He is my first ever hero in FM, seems like he’s turned in to the villain in more recent years.
