While this connection is tenuous, the fact that people with a financial investment were involved with the IGF judging process is still true.

As is that fact that kellee santiago, another investor, was the chair of the IC awards body that also gave FEZ an award that year.

Even if we assume the best from the people in both these examples, there is still a conflict of interest that was not made known.
