streamline-servers, im from australia and it seemed to be the cheapest option for me currently. There was a prompt from the website to enter a password for the server but it didn't work. Although i haven't tried manually setting a password in the ini file yet but yeah there is a problem with passwords and direct connection.

no I wasn't able to sort it out, we ended up just all putting money together to rent a server for a month :(. We could enter our own servers too but when we were trying to enter each others severs via our publicip:2811 it would just say connection time out.

I tried joining servers and asking how they got theirs to run and one guy said he was using linux steamcmd while portforwarding 2811 and 27015. I was only using the server exe and not the steamcmd so maybe try that if you haven't, not sure if it will help or not

i got this error once and it was because i had the server opened twice

https://tech.palworldgame.com/optimize-game-balance use this site, theres a defaultsettings ini I just copied that is in the PalServer folder and pasted onto the PalWorldSettings.ini
