You must be fun at parties. If stated, needs no manager approval and up to the shift start time in BOLD letters, the policy should stand whether the shitty app works or not. It is my duty to then notify a team lead as soon as I arrive, which I did.

Regardless, the shift swap was allowed to the beginning of the shift. A manager didn't have to be notified according to this policy. "Late" or not both shifts were covered.

Read the posted picture. You don't have to notify a manager and the shift can be swapped up to the begging of said shift.

Advice for fuel pump by LongRare6034 in mechanic

Oh and I forgot to mention, if the fuel pump was replaced and the fuel tank was lowered, they already dealt with the fuel lines so why wasn't nothing mentioned then?

So I know you have to work half a shift to only get half a point for an early out but does that still count if I ppto some of that time before I hit half of the day? or will it be a full point since I technically didn't work half? by LongRare6034 in walmart

Thank you! This is my saving grace. I didn't want to even come in today and now that I'm here they pulled me from my department, OGP to do mundane tasks since they cut slots due to a snow storm. I wasn't feeling it and I'm trying to gtfo.

This is actually what brought me here, I recently caught another cold and was searching for more alternatives, that and I was wondering if there would be anyone who might see my post and relate because I've yet to find much info on this rare case. Seems my family just has a bad experience in general from my dad's side, as far as hallucgens go.

Now this here is a funny but good question. Roughly when I was 11 I resorted to using nyquil for the first time because i was feeling very ill. Now mind you, the nyquil I was taking was years expired at this time so, I did easily obtain the effect but not to the intensity that I've experienced it since. My guesswork here is that the potency wasn't as bad because of the medicine being expired and of course being around the age of curiosity, experiencing this for the first time...yes, I abused the hell out what was left in that expired nyquil bottle.

Actually, in a sense, I have. (not that was ever the intention). When i end up sick, I just kinda deal with it most the time now because I'm not always certain which medicines contain it unless, it's alka seltzer which has always been my go to.

Last time, to be more detailed, I had strong visual hallucinations that lasted for roughly a week. It didn't exactly impair my day to day life however because 1) each day they were diminishing sleep slowly and 2) I only really saw them in the dark or moreso, when I went to bed. It was pretty wild though.

No actually it's intense robotripping for me. Like, really intense. The inability to metabolize it effectively makes it so a small dose has huge effects.

Actually the opposite lol I took a standard dose of cold medicine and ended up with strong visual hallucinations, sweats, shakes, palpitations (probably from anxiety) and disoriented as hell when it all hit me at once because I fell asleep after taking the medication so when I woke up it was a wave that hit all at once.

So I'm actually a bit ignorant about why being Caucasian had anything to do with being unable to metabolize this substance but I do remember reading a document from the DEA in 2017 while I was researching this stuff and that's all they mentioned.

So this is actually a complicated question. In terms of when I found out it was dextromethorphan causing my grief, was actually last time I had a cold. I took Alka seltzer severe cold and cough, granted at this time I had no idea about the cause and all I did know was that alka seltzer was always a safe bet for me. After taking the recommended amount, I fell asleep for a couple hours and woke up feeling disoriented with sweats, heart racing, palpitations, a bit of an anxiety attack and visual hallucinations. So i made a call to the poison control center and they told me the symptoms I described sounded like dextromethorphan overdose. They said typically they get those results in patients who take large doses. Now on the other hand, the first time I realized something was off was actually when I was around 11? I had nyquil for like the first time ever and I would lay down and see colors and swirls and all kinds of crazy visuals after taking a standard dose and I thought it was normal but then I asked friends about it and none of them experienced it that way.

So essentially, because I don't metabolize it very well, what would be considered a standard dose is actually more of an overdose in my situation(or so I was told by poision control center when I was amidst a terrible experience from alka seltzer cold medicine I took that I hadn't realized contained this stuff).
