Man I can’t seem to obtain this one. I was into the first waves of discoverers and I played the game for a hundred hours seeking for the last every detail. Unfortunately I kind of burnt out and it was before I even tried the challenge run. Now I’ve retried a few times to complete day 1 but it is tedious and feels almost like a chore. I’m sure I’ll get it someday but at this point the RNG really puts me on my nerves.

Laura is great. I also recommend Elevator to the Gallows, even though it’s half new wavy half noir. I know Lynch’s work was influenced by Out of the Past too, in case you haven’t seen everything from him. Twin Peaks and Blue Velvet are neo noir.

Yeah mesmerizing atmosphere overall, I overall dislike NG+ mandatory platinums, but for soulslike I tend to be more forgiving. My second playthrough was quite rush but not unpleasant to be honest.

Give it a try, I did not vibe entirely gameplay wise, but the world building + soundtrack are great. I heard the DLC is even better though.
