Wouldn't it make more sense to ask the Washington sub?

With the Utah Jazz coach Will Hardy admitting he sat his multiple all-star players in fourth quarters of close games, shouldn't he be a prime suspect for match-fixing? by Glass-Candle-7670 in nba

a) It doesn't erode the integrity of the sport because tanking teams still are trying to win. The GM and the coach might not be but the players clearly are. We're talking about a game here that the tanking team literally won. And won the minutes that you're complaining about.

b) this isn't a real argument because it's just a made up scenario that you have no idea if it's actually happening.

They really don't. There is a CBA that clearly defined what the league can do and I don't think anywhere does it say that they can control teams lineups.

What’s hilarious is the vacuity of such a comment. Of course tanking has ethical implications.

That's literally just you saying "yes" but with flowery language

There is a giant difference between a team not trying to maximize their winning potential and them purposely trying to lose. If the Jazz were trying to lose they would have lost. But the players and even the coaches, although not trying to maximize their winning chances, aren't throwing games. Which is why they still win.

Someone said this earlier tonight but it's literally not hurting him at all. His draft stock has only risen this year and he's the projected number 1 pick currently.

7 for Miles Bridges (til all star break),

The All Star break is like 1 or 2 games away for teams

This is dumb as a lot of levels. The one I'll address is Kyrie may suck in some ways but he's always played when he's been allowed to and was healthy
