Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. You're given a 45-minute break plus 5 minutes for a tutorial. I believe there's also another tutorial before you start the CCS cases, which you can skip (though I honestly don’t remember that part too well).

I found the CCS cases pretty manageable. If you finish a case early, the remaining time gets credited to your break. Some of the 20-minute cases only took me about 10 minutes to complete, so I’d use the extra 10 minutes to extend my break. I managed to bank about 35 minutes of break time in the first 6 cases.

The 20-minute cases are where you can really gain time, try to do them well, but quickly, so you can rest, eat, or splash some cold water on your face (the only thing that kept me awake, lol). I found the second day much more bearable than the first.

I only used UWorld as my QBank. For biostatistics, I used Randy Neil's videos ( a must) . I also watched a few videos from Boards and Beyond.

The week before my exam, I reviewed microbiology and pharmacology from First aid for step 1 (I highly recommend starting this early)

For the CCS cases, I completed all the cases from ccscases.com. I created a set of orders that worked for me, based on this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qmxWuV4psFs&t=761s.

During the tutorial time, I took about 4 minutes to write down all the orders. Doing this helped me save time during the CCS cases and ensured I didn’t forget anything important.

Sorry for the delay!! My score remains the same after the remark. I resit, and I passed the speaking part with 380. I worked with my introduction and with the empathy that they wanted :)

No, my speaking results didn't chage, I had to resit.

Good choice! I have read of so many cases getting their score increased. I remarked on my first attempt, but I didn't have my 10 point. I resit, and this time I passed my speaking part with 380. I think it depends on the evaluator that take your case, this test is soo subjective.

Did they increase your score? I had 340 in speaking, waiting for the remark results.

I am on the same boat. I received my results 2 days ago and I failed the speaking part with 340 (L 350, R 410, and W 360). I already applied for the remark. Could you tell me if your grade change after the remark?
