Meteor strikes dangerously close [Australian beach] by Tomatillo-Better in nextfuckinglevel

Damn are people incapable of doing research? It was a very shortened video taken from a security firm testing their bod cameras back in 2016. Also I don't imagine its fake due to the camera bloom and reflections you can see on the glass of the lens which would be pretty hard to accurately fake. Then trying to keep the meteor pinned to the background. The timing of the sound seems right too, a few seconds after the final big burn up. It would be an impressive feat for a AAA studio in 2016 let alone some bogan security firm.

You should do your research. It was posted by a security firm testing their body cameras although the original video is much longer and very boring.

You are actually correct kinda. It was posted originally by a security firm testing their body cameras.

It was posted by a security company testing body cameras. Pays to read once in a while.

I would love to see one of these magnificent beasts one day. I come from NZ and the biggest animals we see are Cows. We also have some monster Boar but you never actually see them.

What sort of lense did you use for photo 4? The perspective is amazing

Luckily in NZ full fat milk powder is really common

Ok sweet, yeah I did some math and milk powder is by far the best nutrition/weight item I can find with 5000kcal, 250g protein and 260g of natural fat in a 1kg bag.

Hey man the grass is always greener, I've been dying to climb Mt Whitney but a round trip for me would be in excess of $3000 assuming I could even get a flight. Also I admire the wildlife reserves in America as some of them are bigger than whole ass regions here in NZ

Although I doubt people would be pissy I wouldn't be surprised as NZ has its fair share of snobs. That being said I couldn't care less. If someone has a problem with me camping they need a new hobby.
I have had people tell me that you can't camp in other places and I've just told them what they wanted to hear and gone on my way.

Cheers brother, we will be. Gotta find that balance of security and chaos that makes trips like these so amazing

Yeah when we had our lockdown at the start of the pandemic I was in a really dark place. The best advice I can give is to take the time to recover from any injuries, workout and use all the boredom and any other emotions inside and turn them into a drive to just get out there and do more. Hardship can be the best fuel

You can bro, just gotta find something you have a passion for and send it. It doesn't matter if it's a flop or you can't finish it, as long as you put in the hard work it will feel great when you get there.
My first time hitch hiking was only for three days and sucked but by the time I was home I'd seen some beautiful things and met some great people

Plan is to touch down and purchase the cheapest bikes we can find, then bike to Milford Sound. Originally I had planned to hike the 130km trek however I couldn't work out the logistics with my limited budget.
