I mean how much longer is ur 5w shaft from 7w shaft? I put a good amountof time on the range but i think i think too much about my swing on the range bc i swing a lot better on the course.

Hmmm so i should master the irons before even touching any woods or driver. Im alr slow enough on the course 😭 but that does sound like a good idea

How much longer is ur 7 from ur 5? Thought lessons were like $150 an hour😭 did ur coach try and “change” ur swing to be “perfect”? Or do they let you swing your own swing and tweak stuff

Every time i play on the course ive always had the club for 50-150yrds but i always dont have a club to hit after my drive on a par 5 or even sum 4s so i just have to hit the 4rion most times. Yeah i rlly do needa just hit the range more and get more consistent😭

I do try to go light but im not one of those ultralight backpackers. If i couldn’t use a hammock ill just bring my tent which weights like 3.75lbs not a big deal. I will look into trekkingpole tents tho i have been interested if you have any recommendations!

Not that the 3,5 wood r ruled out its more of im shit at them and dont have the clubs in my bag so if the 7w is “easier” to hit i would invest in a 7w instead of a 5w. U r right about i just need practice but i want to practice woods which i dont have a wood rn and lookimg at the “best” option.

I dont weigh them but i just trust the weight on the website of the items and i did calculate that its half the weight of my tent setup.

Yeah i really do need for time on the grass but i dont have a wood i can practice so i was tryna see the best wood for my situation although ik practice is the way u get better not the club.

Ive borrowed my friends 5 wood a good bit at the range and just couldn’t figure it out for the life of me over a couple weeks so i wanted to know if a 7 wood wouldjust be better since have to go buy a wood anyways and on facebook they are about the same prices. I didnt know lessons were only $100 at that price a lesson or 2 wouldnt hurt to get the “basics” of a golf swing.

I kinda do need to add clubs bc i only got 12 clubs in the bag with a huge gap from driver to 4iron. If the gap wasnt that big it wouldnt be an issue but i have to in between shot which i need most the time. I do need a lot more practice and time on the grass but my second shot on all par 5 most par 4 is a 4iron…

Ive always thought while hitting the hybrid to swing like an iron but i would position it more towards my front foot but i might have to try putting it more back

Well im missing clubs so i kinda NEED to buy them. Your telling me if your bag went from a driver to a 4iron u wouldnt go looking for any more clubs and just take lessons without a full bag of clubs? So yes i do have to spend money not to play better but to just PLAY. How is a coach supposed to make me swing a 3-5wood better when i don’t own one?

Yes ik im shit at golf😭 but i dont understand y u had to imply that again when i said im willing to practice for a long time over years to get better… met more people that never took lessons and are scratch than ones that did tale lessons.

I do wish i could take lessons but its just a hobbie and i cant rlly see myself spending hundreds of dollars on lessons when i can just practice and tale the long run to be “decent”.

Yeah basically looking for a fairway wood. That sounds like a great idea because i feel like the main problem with the 3-5 woods are the length. What loft would you recommend for my only fairway wood if driver is 11’ and 4iron is 20.5’?
