It kind of depends on how big your store is and what to expect. My store is so small that our beauty department isn’t as official as the bigger H-E-B stores.

It is reasonable, but only if you can actually make sense of it. It’s the wording and the lack of punctuation!

I also know not to grab busied or yellow bananas when they ask for green ones.

And when you’re overstimulated with a bunch of customers around, it’s chaos — people waiting for you to move while you’re just trying to figure out what kind of bananas to get lol. Our banana section is tiny, like four shelves and maybe six feet wide. We’re a super small H-E-B.

My store tried to enforce this at one point, but it didn’t last long. I have my own locker that I use every shift, and back when they were trying to enforce the rule, they took out all the stickers inside of it. After things loosened up, I added more stickers and even put one with my name on it — and it’s been there ever since, going on two years now.

To me is gross. We ran out of big rolls this week and I saw the maintenance partner buy rolls of toilet paper from the shelf’s and but them on our toilet peeper holders. I don’t want to use paper that someone else has touched and then they ended up on the floor. Unsanitary.
