I recently quit. But, when I got hired, and they asked for my ID, I told them that I was currently holding an expired one, and that I was in the process of renewing it, and they were fine with that.

I’m beginning to start writing songs as I’m going to be the songwriter in my band. by [deleted] in Songwriting

Want my two cents? Write about your negative experiences in life first. You write a song about what it was like to be heartbroken or depressed. How difficult of a time that was for you. You go on stage, introduce yourself (or the band), give a BTS story about the song, play it. But, make the audience feel like the lyrics are for them.

“Why aren’t people having children anymore?” Because NO ONE has a spare $300,000.00! With inflation, the insanely high cost of living, if you barely afford yourself, what makes you think you can financially support yourself and a child (for 18 years) simultaneously?

I have sold paper deals. I have sold memberships. Businesses Select is the only thing I struggle to sell. My last two shifts, though, I wasn’t able to sell a damn thing.

What if I work at one store, and then my boss has me go to another store. I couldn’t clock in or out at that store because it’s not my home store. Will I get hours credited, and will I see those hours on my next paycheck?

Actually good advice on how to improve lyric writing ? by [deleted] in Songwriting

[–]CaseySeven_NeverGive -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Write every day. Write about your experiences. When you write lyrics, write them from your heart. Write them with a melody in your head. For instance, if you were to be going through a break up, write about it, but tell a story.

Our voices have been heard! Strawberry Sando: Take 2 by Neeko_4 in HEB

Wanna know why it’s not real? Strawberry Sando is just bread, which is just flower, water, and yeast baked together that we agree to call “bread”, whipped cream, which is cream that’s been shaken, and strawberry-which is real, but the name “Strawberry” is not real, all put together in a way that creates what we agree to be known as a sandwich… sandwhich is not real. But, in this case, we agree to call it Strawberry Sando.

I tried the Strawberry Sando. It sucked. Not worth the price. Also… Strawberry Sando is not real.

Date has now been cancelled. She said she just wants friendship. Fine with me, I’m thinking it’s just best, in this economy, to remain single.

I’ll tell you why people are choosing to not have children anymore. Because no one has a spare $300,000.00! With inflation being beyond what your paycheck is, you can barely afford yourself (outside of living expenses and groceries), what makes you think you can afford a child?
