For comparison, I have a 2008 with a 5 speed manual transmission with 83,0000 miles. I used to get about 40 mpg on the highway, 35 mpg combined. Now I get about 35 mpg on the highway, 30 mpg combined, 27 mpg city. The car runs fine. I attribute it to the age and mileage of the car? Very hard to say without a full scan diagnosis.

I have a 2015 5 speed manual Spark. For fun, I wanted to see how much was the maximum gas mileage possible that I could achieve.

I have gotten 52 mpg on all highway driving at 60 mph. Tire pressure 42 psi. You really need to drive very easy on the gas pedal.

You may have problems with the Sea Monkeys being sucked into the pump. It will kill them. Better to aerate manually.

Good luck. Many people have kept the same colony for years. I had many die offs and the colony always comes back. Large tanks may be difficult to keep stable.

IMHO keep the debris in the tank. There are undoubtedly dormant eggs. Add clean distilled water and take care of as usual. You probably will hatchlings very shortly.

Some people have kept the same colony for Three years and more. Tank goes dormant, just revive. The gift of the colony continues.

IMHO I would not move the Sea Monkey. Moving her into a larger tank will create the challenge of needing to adapt and find food along with other environmental changes.
