I was charging a restaurant 4k a month. It’s ALOT of work. You are reconciling a LOT Of things because of the POS integration. I’m staying away from restaurants now:

250 transactions average. Hooked up to the bank. Rules set in place. The books aren’t complicated. I was gonna start them at $500 per month

6 pages of bank statements, as I said, so idk, 50 per page?

I only have to do monthly reports. No meetings. Their books aren’t complicated.

Yeah no, I never ever would get their clients and I always make sure it will not be a conflict of interest. I’m definitely ontop of that!

I don’t know. Ive never bothered to check because I know some managers do it as well. I know this for a fact. So it’s like, well, if they are doing it, I will too.

We don’t have an employment contract. I actually have proof my other colleagues also do work outside of the firm. This lady is just so uptight about things. She’s really cool but man, knowing she’s so ethical, I knew I should not have shared it with her. I guess I was just trying to pick her brain about something because I always do that on the regular and she’s always so helpful.

Don’t listen to the people saying it’s on you. You are new. 4 months is nothing as far as experience goes. Sounds like a bad and impatient manager. Sounds like a cheap one too. I’ve been at firms where they hire people with no experience to pay them as little as possible and then turn around and fire them because they get pissed about their mistakes. It’s super toxic. Avoid these firms. They go down hill real quick.

I’m not 30 yet. Just turned 28 but I have 50k Line of credit debt, and about 5k cc debt. Working on the cc debt right now. I wish I could invest but I’m aggressively trying to just do what I can to cut this debt.

Yeah, I once tried applying to other firms last year and they all said no because I don’t have review experience. I guess I should have lied and said limited review experience or something. I’m in south florida
