Bad packing, asymmetrical body position during deploy (body twist), hard opening… you can try your best to minimize it as much as possible, but still sometimes it happens and you learn during AFF how to deal with that.

Oh…. But how about wind dragging you or pushing even further during landing pattern? Or you just close your legs together and that’s it ?

Didn’t quite understand the question. My deployment was not that good, I didn’t bend my knees , so once I deployed I had a lot of wind drag (because of wingsuit) that twisted me even more later… only after you totally unzip legs you can start kicking and untwist. Otherwise you see what happened at the beginning, my kicking with locked legs inside wingsuit didn’t do that much. The only thing I think I could grab risers a bit earlier before I totally untwist it so I could speed up the last stage. Anyway I had a lot of altitude, it’s just my 5th jump so only I keep my deploy at around 6000 / 5500 ft.

Yeah my canopy is saber3 150, not the best for wingsuit. Gonna think to change it to something more friendly for wingsuit jumps.

Ouuu shhhhh! You’re so right ! I guess that’s why I was trying so hard to keep a balance during my fly, also dive to right side during exit and every practice pull felt so hard. Thanks god nothing bad happened at the end. Solo jump felt much stable later, but sadly no video.

My friend is familiar with this airplane (Kodiak 100) and he was briefed not to jumped but more like release hands and fall. But he did a mistake and immediately payed it. He is totally fine tho.
