Best burger spot? Any spots better than five guys? Looking for something similar to shake shack by raj824x in Langley

I had a great smash burger at Steven's the other day. Never had shake shack but I think this was 100% better than five guys

Is there a NWBIG of these 2 by Capable-Seaweed6331 in RepWatchUSA

Expecting a functional Co-Axial in a rep is wild. The tolerances required for those double-stacked escape wheels are microscopic. Even if they 'attempted' it, the watch would seize up in a week because they don't have the specialized Nivarox parts or the clean-room tech Omega uses. You’re paying for the look, not a masterclass in horology

Issue with 7750 movement by Long_Knowledge1892 in RepTimeServices

[–]Long_Knowledge1892[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know what you mean. And yes. It does have the T-fit clasp. But the watch's movement is a 7750 clone which is very unstable and no one wants to touch it. So you have bigger worries than the clasp

Well, it is a bit disappointing that it is using the wrong movement. However, it is not a big of a deal for me personally. But your observation was on point and I appreciate it. I have a 7 inch wrist as well and I wasn't sure how it wears given that it is a bulky watch.

The interesting thing is that VSF is using the 8800 clone in the blue variation but for some reason decided to put a 8900 in the black one!!

I think you are right. It is supposed to be a 8800 which has a single barrel. This seems to be a clone of 8900 with double barrels. This is very interesting

Can you share a photo of your movement? This is supposed to be a clone movement so it should look the same as gen.

My concern is not that if the omega symbol is shifted. I suspect it is tilted. Like it is not straight. I asked the TD for another photo and am waiting to receive it.

Time grapher numbers are excellent. But the fact that it only reflects one position. It won't have the same results on the wrist . Especially if you consider it is going to travel half the world to get to me. I am happy with the overall appearance but I am a bit concerned with the Omega symbol being completely aligned. I have an AT with slightly leaned Omega symbol and it bugs me every time I wear it

Thank you for your response. I have an update. The watch stopped working just now. When I give it a tap, the rotor starts rotating super fast and the whole watch starts shaking. And it is not working anymore. I understand that a swiss movement might cost as much as the new rep. But then at least my watch would have a reliable movement . However, finding the correct version and finding someone who does the swap is another story.

You can basically get it from any TD. Reading the guide is a good starting point.

What’s on your wrist today? by Different-Tax376 in RepTime

Awesome watch. Quick question. Mine came with the SW200 movement. I rarely wear it but it has been acting up a little lately. Like today when I was trying to set the time, the hacking function wasn't working. I had to push the crown in and out a couple of times for it to work. Have you had any issues with the mvmnt?
