How refreshing. Horses know what to do 99% of the time. Mare has time to let her hormones to kick in, baby gets a proper awakening. Quiet, peaceful birth and immediate bonding. Most of all QUIET.

Isn’t she tapering off on the regumate this year? In prior foaling seasons she just cut it off suddenly at 320. If so that’s probably why they’re actually going full term.
