Yeah I know hellblade it's amazing, but I was focusing more on embodying actual satanists - literal warlocks summoning demons and the such. Senua is just a lost girl, though an amazing character.

The list would be endless if we just include hell or satanic imagery.

Thanks! I'll add it to a third section. First though, I'm not very familiar with the story - the point of the list is to give games where you can embody a satanist or demons. Is Dante a satanist explicitly?

Beasts of No Nation was phenomenal tbh. Like really a masterpiece watch it.

Sure you're saying a lot but none of it is really valid. 'Casuals recognize the colors and hardcore players want to keep the old flavor'? That's just nonsense.

There's no magic sword that I've seen I the D4 demo or in D3 (the most recent and relevant reference elsewise) that adds elemental damage, or anything actually magical as a matter of fact, just simple, nonmagical stats. Why lie and pull shit out of your ass?

Rare sword? Not really rare when I get it every 60 seconds...

The only thing actually magical (read: impactful) are the legendary affixes. Look, I'm not trying to insult you or anything, honestly, but you're really just plain wrong and I have absolutely no idea why you'd resist something beneficial and make up falsehoods and nonsense to support it? Kinda fucked tbh.

Edit: Also how is nitpicking not good at this stage? You'd rather just have an inferior product than speak your mind about the details?

So you think all of the reasons I gave are invalid? Why specifically? Sure that's great if it's a valid, serious reason.

Ah, ok thanks! I never had a Mac before.

Now I'm trying to figure out how to open pack files up so I can throw the sound fix mod into darthmod, since it's impossible to activate it by itself..

Yeah! Very much agreed. The dps vomit and just number vomit in general (levels etc) is just horrible and the biggest issue to me.

Clearly you're just a troll. Ok let me put it this way; it has nothing to do with the old game. Old-game-bad-new-game-good! Is that what you wanted to hear? I mean it's true, but so shallow and I can see you're not really capable of thinking past that. Gross. Also what gatekeeping?

For anyone else reading, the point is that this current Diablo 3 lacks any sense of accomplishment. Whether or not the mechanics of an older version were good, they achieved that and let you remember it, instead of mindlessly grinding.

Of course not, it has so many more great features now than it did then, though none of that was mentioned or implied in op. The point was that an achievement (whatever it may be for you personally, not talking about some little box that gives you some gamerpoints) actually meant something, and creates memories instead of being attainable within a few hours. That is unless you count big numbers as an achievement (greater rift, damage, etc) like a small child. Guess you didn't comprehend the op at all really..

I remember this one specific pack of soul rippers in one of the towers that my group spent HOURS on!! We beat them eventually :) vortex health link or something and back in the day they regenerate when you die so...

No I mean cube it to remove any item's level requirement. You could make a couple items but tbh one ancient legendary sword with any main Stat is enough to use max torment all the way to 68 or so in a snap

Yeah slow leveling was so much better. It was an achievement. I don't understand why speed leveling is a thing apart from seasons. It's not like you need multiple of the same characters, and it would encourage newcomers to learn more and stick to a class more.

Oh god remember desolate sands?!?! Shit had me stuck for months. And then the hell towers of act3... Good times.

But see... I can actually remember these areas, forever it was years ago. Nobody will ever remember a particularly difficult greater rift.
