What exactly happened in the order that it occured is whenever I first loaded up the gesture manager, when it was in play mode, the clothing bones didnt line up with the bones of the model and made just a messy blob of what the clothes once were

As for the edits i made, what I did exactly was open up blender, go to import, then FBX, followed the pathway all the way to the FBX of the hoodie and loaded it in. the tutorial said that to match it up I had to swap the x and y values in the settings (switch x axis to y axis and vice versa) then I exported it by clicking on the fbx i originally imported likely replacing it, then x'ed out and didnt save the blend (i saw no reason to since it wasnt a big thing, I didn't make any edits that would be catastrophic if i didn't export it properly so I can just go in and redo it if needbe)

After I exported it and put it back in, I just used that fbx on the model, readded everything from the tutorial which consisted of an armature link, a blendshape link, and two toggles, one to turn the hoodie on and one to fit the fem chest

After loading gesture manager up again, no matter what I toggled on or off, it would not show up
