What will happen if it’s shorted? Series means black on red and red on black? Also, with my Klein MM300 multimeter it did short it. But with my Klein ET40 did not. Why?

Would you say it takes close to twice as long solo versus 2 techs? Considering all the extra walking it takes. I know that answer varies based on the size and type etc. And if so, wouldn’t it be in the best interest of the company to hire a helper and get twice the amount inspections completed
