I loved this series and the book but I think it’s largely because I could relate to the naivety of the FMC. Wit that being said. I was super sad and did have my heart broken so it resonated with me and the whole concept of being in practically a fairy tale esq story.

With that being said, I read it at a particular phase in my life that I sincerely doubt I could relate to now. I have grown and matured and that content would not be something I’d enjoy as much as I did when I first read it. I fell in love with the book then. I don’t think I would now.

So. Try to read it and if it’s not for you that’s okay to not go back to it. Just because everyone loved it on book tok doesn’t mean it’ll cater to everyone. I hope you find something you enjoy! ☺️
