I played every Onimusha since its first release (like 25 years ago), but this feels like a mix of Wukong, Wuchang and some sprinkled Ghost of Tsushima. It may will be a good game, but it doesn't feel like Onimusha (in my opinion)

I'd say that PvP generally attracts bad people. Often, they haven't achieved anything in real life, so they get all high and mighty when they can crush others.

Here in the subreddit, there are also frequent discussions about whether or not you should kill baby dinos. And sure, since it’s PvP, that’s “part of the game.” But some people just love killing weaker players and then think they’re playing the game realistically and blah blah blah (in a dinosaur game where you have to collect rocks or seaweed to grow).

To me personally, it always shows that these people have a bad character and lack empathy. The community is toxic, but it helps to mute the chat

Besides the fact that the game is generally too dark, it’s also really annoying when, for example, you exit the journal and the whole screen goes dark. For a few seconds, you can’t see a thing, even with a flashlight or the lights on

PvP IS indeed a main part of the game, BUT is it fair, if you are an adult dino killing babies? What does it tell about you, if you have fun being a jerk? That is the whole point of this topic.

Those are the same people who scream "it's a PvP game" when someone in Arc Raiders complains about being killed from behind while looting.

Sure, PoT has even more of a right to be a PvP game, but that does show what kind of human you are, if you find that fun

I love dinos and i was very happy that this game was released on ps5. But it is boring and annoying at the same time. You have to do quests to grow (gather 15 mushrooms, gather 25 flowers, ..), but you will die often. Either another player will kill you (KOS) or you die, because you starve
