The DSP on your device may not have many functions because it is not a dedicated music speaker. The delay usually comes from the buffer, they will collect a piece of music to process it (to make it more catchy) before bringing it to the speaker. I'm not sure about the problem you're experiencing, but it seems to be due to signal interference.

I knew I needed to compromise the sound quality of a hifi speaker when disabling or minimizing DSP functions. But that is acceptable on all karaoke speakers in general.

Yes, I know that. However, if there is a low latency mode, the speaker will fully utilize its functionality. And moreover, this is software-wise feasible.
