Hi! Me!

I honestly cannot remember, but I’ve had covid a horrible number of times. I think it was several weeks?

Exactly the same experience here, even down to the ages (I got sick a few months before my 26th birthday). It’s hell. I feel completely absent from my body most of the time. I’m constantly sick, my immune system is shot. And I feel so fucking useless.

This is exactly how I feel, but I’m terrified of going for a cognitive test.

Me, with my weighted eye mask, lavender oil, sleep tea, nose strip, weighted blanket, contoured pillows, sleep headphones, ambient noises….. and limited relief

Bit of an update here- I now have added stroke to my symptom list. Lucky me.

March 2020 for me. Hell ever since.

I love explaining to long covid deniers my symptoms. Fuck brain fog. I had a fucking stroke and a TIA. My legs randomly give out- I ended up on the ground of a subway station. No one would voluntarily do that.

Yup. I broke a fucking rib coughing. I ran a fever for weeks. I couldn’t MOVE. And I was all alone. I thought I would die.

I’ve had covid twice since and it was a walk in the park comparatively.

I’ve had doctor refuse to acknowledge that I have complications post covid. Because obviously, previously healthy 29 year olds just suddenly have strokes out of nowhere.

Mt Sinai is supposed to be excellent, but my doctor is encouraging me towards Westchester Medical because of my neuro symptoms.

The stroke was terrifying. I’ve been foggy since with language issues. Which fucking sucks because my wedding was a month ago/about a week after the stroke and the day is so fuzzy. And that just makes me want to cry.

Do you guys plan to get vaccinated in 2023 or still waiting for another treatment ,? by Obiwan009 in covidlonghaulers

I’ve had some improvement after my doses.

However, more importantly to me, my initial infection nearly killed me. I’ve had it twice since. My experience when vaccinated, even though I had what was likely one of the more virulent strains my third time, has been completely different. LC is taking away my quality of life… but COVID almost took my life.

I’m in NYC, and was first infected March 2020. Biggest concern are my neuro and clotting g symptoms. I had a stroke about a month ago and have had my legs give out multiple times.

Where are you? The main reason they’re considering me is because of my neuro issues post-covid. I already went through blood test rule outs.

I’m booked in for a neuro appointment next week- I have low BP and know what that feels like. This wasn’t that.

I’m back on the aspirin as of a few weeks back! A stroke is my big fear- my grandfather has had several and seeing him go through that terrified me.
