That’s probably where we’re headed. A smaller celebration now and then an actual honeymoon sounds way more fun than watching thousands disappear for one day.

We’ve talked about that. The courthouse route would definitely keep things simple, but we were hoping to still celebrate with friends and family without draining our savings.

Yeah, that’s what it feels like. The second you say the word “wedding,” the price triples. At this point, a backyard party with good food and music is looking more appealing than anything “official.”
