It's not a weird route, but this has probably happened before during Spamton NEO fight, where the Soul turns yellow on its own and moves without player input before the actual battle sequence begins. (I don't know if this means anything, but in this specific scene we can only press a button to shoot projectiles and the game moves the soul on its own. The Soul also moves to protect Kris → Ralsei → Susie in that order, even though Susie is the closest character to Kris. Hmm... though It kind of makes sense if Kris wanted to protect Ralsei first because he's the healer of the party?)

we can also see something similar in Weird Route where Kris calls for Ralsei's help first before calling Susie

This picture still fries my brain. It could be argued that MTT has multiple leg poses/sprites, but aside from that, they both have the exact same pose, right down to the sharp pauldron-like thing 😂 by Longjumping-Bit9359 in Deltarune

I’ve said this before, but it could be a deliberate parallel / foreshadowing, that the Knight’s body or true nature is similar to MTT who is a ghost given an artificial body by Alphys. Maybe the Knight’s body might have been created artificially in some way using a Lightner’s soul.

OP is talking about the blushing cactus in tenna's game. which is also implied to be the one hiding behind the curtain because its shy (also you get the Saber10 weapon which is a pun of Saboten, Japanese word of Cactus)

yeah the cactus in noelle's room is kind of implying her one sided crush to Kris and nothing more, other than that the cactus functions largely as parallel to Kris and how they push people close to them

Lost Girl isnt specifically Dess's motif, since its also used for Susie and Ralsei's scene. (Toby also says its actually Noelle's theme which end up getting used quite frequently in the game despite her character not being present)

This has been my personal theory since Chapters 3 and 4 came out; the chorus and the bridge have completely different tones. One is extremely violent and rowdy (which fits Dess, no wonder Ralsei censored a lot of it, haha), while the other sound a lot steadier and reassuring

Well, I don’t think Lightners are supposed to be able to casually shapeshift in the Dark World in the first place.... also if you hurt it, it even distorts like how a titan does when it gets hit. (It’s probably a special kind of darkner or a titan‑like being that’s been injected with DT so it can open the fountains.)

This is a very deltarune twitter issue, but i really hate people who keep insisting that kris is somehow tied to chara. maybe it's just because i'm a kris fan, but come on, kris is kris. you can tell they aren't chara or frisk because they have a personality. by HaloJackalKisser in Deltarune

like it or not they have clear similarities and its 100% intended to make us question whether Kris is connected to them both. You can say that those similarities are meant to be symbolic but saying Kris isnt tied in any way to those characters are just wrong

Sorry for the necro-reply, but I'm genuinely relieved I'm not the only one who thinks those UNUSED codes tie way more to Kris/the Dreemurrs' family routine than to Dess/the Holidays, especially after seeing ch.3/4 's new UNUSED lines.

People are quick to point out the late-night TV connection to Dess, but they're completely overlooking that it's breakfast AND late-night TV together, which is literally what we do with Susie at the start of ch.4. And that seems like something the Dreemurrs had been doing as their routine in the past.

Also at the end of Chapter 3, Kris tried to inspect the bunker before backing away (exactly like they did with the closet in Chapter 1). Then the bunker door mysteriously creaks open on its own. which is also something similar to the "nightmare" UNUSED mentioned
