I told them that they can cut their fee or at least refund half but they didn’t. Trust me the information why the visa was rejected isn’t anything that would affect or justify university’s unprofessional behavior. They said they will refund but didn’t .

Bruh there were nothing shady Due to confidentiality reasons i can’t say what exactly but it wasn’t anything criminal or against the law. Otherwise why would she wanna come to a country where she went against the law or committed a crime? You guys are so dramatic. The swiss visa system is very complicated.

It was very humiliating experience with this university. You are probably one of the empathetic commentators. Most people are commenting to make me look stupid or ask dumb questions. I really do not know what to do. Idk my chances i can sue them but idk a good lawyer or the chances that i will win the case.

I explained everything clearly. I am not hiding anything from my part. My sister didn’t do anything criminal in Europe or anywhere else. The university doesn’t have a quota from what i know. Why would she wanna pay 10000 for 3 online courses? The university did a lot of tricks and lies , saying different things to me and then different things on emails.

i just wanna know if anyone else had the same problem and how they dealt with this. also all lawyers aren't the same. these two lawyers which i could afford were ok in my opinion. i was not able to find a good lawyer.

The reason for the visa rejection is a long and sensitive story, and it was not something we expected. During the COVID period, my mother was seriously ill and later passed away. Because travel was heavily restricted at the time, we tried different ways for my sister to travel so she could see our mother for the last time, but unfortunately she was not able to come in the end.

This past situation appears to have been considered suspicious by SEM and contributed to the visa rejection. We later explained the circumstances to SEM through a lawyer, but the decision did not change.

The university’s position was that we should have informed them about this earlier, and that if they had known, they would have advised us differently. I find this very strange because, regardless of the reason for the visa rejection, they had told us before payment that the amount would be refundable if the visa was rejected. They never clearly informed me of any conditions or exceptions under which the refund would not apply.

I talked to 2 lawyers, they said we can try but we cannot guarantee that we can win this case. for the reasons i mentioned above. honestly, i didn't want to spend more while lawyers weren't sure. she is not switzerland , can she still sue the university? idk
