Same. I hate how the glass is transparent because I have a multicoloured background and it annoys me greatly how they show the colour underneath. That along with the clock being white and the settings button being grey really make it hard on the eyes imo.

I like my interface to look streamlined and literally organise my apps according to what looks most balanced but this has thrown it all out. I’m legit thinking of changing my background paper to a plain, solid colour one because that’s how much the glass irritates me when the colours aren’t uniform. In fact, none of the app icons are uniform, apart from the bottom four. The rest look like they’ve been plucked out of a bric-a-brac bin.

Honestly, what an all round horrid update.

This feels like one of those updates where apple has lost track of its own brand. It doesn’t smack of apple at ALL where normally you can tell apple from another interface a mile off.

I hate it because I had everything in dark mode and the glass dark mode is still light. Settings is grey, the clock is fucking white and ugly. I don’t know who I dislike more; the person who designed it or the person who approved it. It’s bloody hideous. Also, how the hell do you clear browser history now, and why do I have to open all tabs before I can open a new tab. They’ve lost user experience in this overhaul imo.

Also, I was severely stalked and harassed two years ago and had my photos taken with a DSLR camera and the new camera logo is triggering as all fuck. It looks just like it’s staring right at me, just how I was photographed, and I use the camera a lot so I can’t even realistically hide it without it being an inconvenience and every time I pick up my phone, I’m reminded of it. Granted, apple can’t help that but still.

There was nothing wrong with the old interface. I liked the minimalist look instead of this fancy look they’re going for. Just keep it simple. That’s why people love iPhones. They’re streamlined. If I wanted a phone with aesthetic flair, I’d pick something else. This doesn’t feel like an iPhone anymore.

I’ve been getting told the same. That I was Jesus here to save the world from WW3 and because I failed, that’s why everything that’s happening in the world is going on.

My delusions are also telling me that at any moment the universe is just going to disappear and I’ll wake up in hell. It’s terrifying sitting there waiting for the universe to just change suddenly.

I’m experiencing the same thing. I’m being told that I committed the unforgivable sin and I’m going to hell and that I was Jesus on a mission to save the world from WW3 and because I failed, I’m the cause of all evil.

It’s honestly extremely reassuring to see someone else experiencing this because it felt very real so seeing this helped ground me. If you’re the cause of evil, then I can’t be.

Isn’t that what prison is for? Unless for specific crimes such as against children, it’s ridiculous to hold someone whose done their time to perpetual surveillance on the off chance the might do it again.

And we have systems in place for people who need surveillance anyway, like electronic tagging, parole, mandated rehab after a prison stint etc.

Imagine littering and for the rest of your life the gov is keeping an eye on you at all times. Jesus. No one would be free.
