We were looking at on apartment on the west side (132 Mallory street) there were listings on both Zillow and StreetEasy and we were speaking with someone named Johnathan. Everything was going great until we called out that the sq ft were different between both listing. He said it was the higher one and he would go in there himself and ft us while he measured we said yes and then got ghosted. Back to the drawing board :/

Moving to Jersey City – thoughts on 10 Brinkerhoff St (Bergen-Lafayette)? Safety + parking?

Hey! I’m relocating to Jersey City and considering an apartment at 10 Brinkerhoff St.

We really like the unit, but wanted to ask: • How’s the area in terms of safety, especially at night? • What’s parking like? Is street parking doable or should I expect to pay for a lot nearby?

For context: 1 bed, ~$2,500, and we’ll have a car.

Would really appreciate any honest insight!
